Tuition impact

Excel Learning CIC has supported many children and young people throughout their educational journeys, with former learners progressing into further education and university. In 2026, all GCSE learners achieved a pass in the subjects for which they received tuition with us. Some achieved results above their predicted grades.

Youth Club impact

Since January 2025, the Youth Club has welcomed 495+ attendances, supporting young people to build belonging, creativity, confidence and emotional wellbeing through positive activities, art therapy and music workshops.

Case study:

A former participant continued as a volunteer after turning 20. Excel supported his DBS and Level 1 Youth Work qualification. His experience strengthened his confidence and employability and helped him secure more regular full-time employment. He continues to volunteer and act as a positive role model.

HAF impact

Haf trips give children access to exciting experiences and positive holiday memories that some families might otherwise find difficult to access because of financial or personal circumstances.

Case study:

A young person with SEND progressed from HAF participant to volunteer at age 16. The role enabled her to remain positively involved while developing confidence, independence, responsibility and practical skills, and she now helps other children enjoy the programme

Childcare training impact

Training has been delivered since 2017. In 2025, approximately 130 people completed childcare training. Learners have progressed into nanny employment, successful childminding businesses and childcare settings.

Case study:

A learner completed Childminder Training in 2024 and received registration support. She now runs her own childminding business and employs others, including people who completed nanny training with Excel Learning CIC.

Work experience impact

In 2026, 12 Year 10 students from six Ealing secondary schools received meaningful placements through the Ealing Council Work Experience Programme, developing workplace confidence, communication, teamwork and organisational skills.
